TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Assignment of trays / training schedules
The allocation of trays / training schedule for the next day will be done during the meeting with the coordinator of the Mont Edouard Training Camp in the builder's lounge, between 4:00 pm and 5:00 pm, every day.
It is your responsibility to be present as adjustments will be made daily according to everyone's needs.
The first trail to be opened will be trail 4A, trail 3, followed by trails 6 and 7 as soon as snow conditions permit (see map below).
Each track will be subdivided into different linear zones (training) depending on the snow conditions, which will be assigned to you in the form of a plateau according to your needs (slalom / giant slalom ...)
Each club will be assigned a specific training area (plateau) in which you will be responsible for drawing your desired training line at the location determined, all in partnership with other adjacent teams to ensure the smooth operation and safety of all.
Ex. The first one to make his line will be the one from left to right, all the others will have to follow and be in symbiosis with this first one.
The jump will have to be erected at the beginning of runway 4A, on the left side of the runway, to allow the passage of a slalom line on its right.
The last section at the bottom of run 3 will be reserved for freestyle skiing for a mogul course. As soon as snow conditions permit, a slalom line will be possible adjacent to it.
Safety and first aid
In case of an accident, contact the Mont Edouard training camp cordoner directly, by radio and/or phone via the "Connecteam" application, we will follow up for the required quick care.
The patrol room, marked with a green and white cross, is located at the base of the mountain, in the building next to the main lodge, adjacent to the Mont Edouard ski club. See the Mont Edouard site map.
In the event of an injury outside the mountain requiring professional medical services, an ambulance service is available in L'Anse-Saint-Jean by dialing 911.
The ambulance provides transportation to the nearest hospital, which is located in La Baie, QC:
